Porsche will produce electric super cars
Representatives Porsche have confirmed officially the plans on release new hybrid cars. Besides, heads of the company have declared that they start tests electric super cars – it is a question of the ecological pure version of roadster Boxster. However, while details about this model are not present.
But it is known much about hybrid Porsche Panamera. This model will appear on sale next year, and as a power-plant almost same unit as at Cayenne S Hybrid - motor V6 TSI (333 h.p.) begins to work together with 34-kilowatt electric motor located between the motor and a gear box. The power unit will allow Panamera to pass some kilometres exclusively on electropull-rod.
In March of this year on a motor show in Geneva Porsche has already shown non-polluting super car under name 918 Spyder concept. In movement the Spider is resulted by hybrid power-plant – petrol V8 3,4 l capacity of 500 h.p. here work as volume together with two electromotors which give out 218 more h.p. (one motor rotates wheels of the front axle, the second – wheels rear, the petrol engine is in the centre). As a result easy 918 Spyder can be dispersed from a place to 100 km/h only for 3,2 sec, and the maximum speed makes 320 km/h. There is also one more tremendous indicator- a fuel consumption. 918 Spyder, despite the capacity, thanks to presence of electromotors, system KERS and accumulators which can be recharged from the usual socket connection, spends for each 100 km of a way on the average 3 l.
